My approach
I am an attachment-based therapist, meaning that I believe everyone’s upbringing has impacted them and shaped how they maneuver in their lives today. My approach is compassionate yet directive to help my clients gain understanding and insight into their behaviors and experience relief in knowing they aren’t broken. I go beyond insight and understanding to actually relieving clients of the stressors and traumas that have been stored in their bodies for decades. In doing this, people can respond differently to their loved ones and cope more productively. My clients don’t just learn how to communicate differently; they gain freedom from the guilt and burdens that prevented them from doing things differently, and suddenly, it all seems so much easier.
